This two-day program is designed for managers, team leaders, and professionals in leadership roles who want to build and apply fundamental coaching skills.   1. Introduction to Coaching: Defines coaching, explores its benefits, and distinguishes it from mentoring and managing, while introducing the principles of a coaching mindset.
  2. The Art of Active Listening: Develops techniques for deep listening, recognizing verbal and non-verbal cues, and paraphrasing for clarity.
  3. Powerful Questioning: Practices open-ended, thought-provoking questions to promote reflection, accountability, and solution-focused thinking.
  4. The GROW Model in Practice: Explains the Goal-Reality-Options-Will framework and applies it through practical exercises and role play.
  5. The Feedback Sandwich (and Beyond): Introduces constructive feedback methods, compares the “feedback sandwich” to alternative approaches, and builds confidence in delivering feedback that motivates change.
  6. Coaching for Performance and Development: Applies coaching to enhance individual performance, address gaps, and support professional development.
  7. Overcoming Coaching Challenges: Provides strategies to manage resistance, navigate time constraints, and handle difficult conversations.
  8. Action Planning and Wrap-Up: Guides participants to create a personal coaching plan with measurable goals for implementation.
