Overview

This two-day program leverages the DISC behavioural style framework to enhance team communication, cooperation, and self-awareness. Participants will identify their own behavioural styles, understand the styles of others, and learn to adapt communication for more effective collaboration.

Course Outline (Sessions)

  1. Program Introduction: Welcome, course overview, and clarification of learning objectives.
  2. Personality and Decision-Making: Defines personality and examines how it influences thinking, behaviour, and decision-making.
  3. Behaviour and Emotional Intelligence: Explores the connection between values, perspective, emotional intelligence, and effective interpersonal communication.
  4. DISC – Four Behavioural Styles: Interactive session on Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance, including video examples and practical insights.
  5. Interpreting DISC Assessments: Guidance on reading DISC graphs and understanding participants’ own assessment results.
  6. Communicating Across Styles: Strategies to identify others’ behavioural styles and adjust communication to improve influence and cooperation.
  7. Conclusion and Action Planning: Q&A, course evaluation, and development of personal strategies for applying DISC insights.
